Terms of Service

1. Service Description

awedot is a desktop application (currently available for macOS, with Windows support in development) that discovers, saves, and resumes AI coding sessions across supported AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, and others). awedot is sold as a one-time purchase with a complimentary 14-day free trial.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase, wehuman grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use awedot on the number of devices specified by your license tier. A device is one physical machine running a supported operating system. Currently supported platforms are listed on our website.

Licenses are bound to the device count purchased, not to specific machines. You may deactivate one device and activate another within the purchased count at any time. Licenses may not be resold, transferred, or sublicensed.

3. Purchase and Payment

All purchases are processed by Creem Ireland Ltd., our Merchant of Record. By purchasing awedot you agree to Creem's terms of service in addition to these terms. Prices are listed in USD; applicable sales tax, VAT, and GST are calculated and collected by Creem as required by law.

4. Free Trial

A 14-day free trial is available before purchase. The trial provides full feature access. No payment is required during the trial. You may cancel at any time by uninstalling the application.

5. Refund Policy

Because awedot is a digital product and a free trial is offered before purchase, refunds are not provided once a license has been activated. If you experience a technical issue that prevents use, contact peng@wehuman.top within 30 days of purchase and we will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a refund at our discretion.

6. Updates

awedot is currently in version 0.x. Your license includes lifetime updates at no additional cost through major version 1.x, which will be a free upgrade for all current license holders. A future major version beyond 1.x (e.g. 2.x) may be offered as a separate purchase. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.

awedot is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

awedot depends on third-party AI tools — including but not limited to Claude Code, Codex, and similar — whose availability, behavior, and output are outside our control. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or limitations of these third-party tools.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, wehuman's total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of awedot shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license. In no event shall wehuman be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these terms. Upon termination you must stop using awedot and uninstall it. You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling awedot; no refund will be provided for terminated licenses except as required by law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Creem Ireland Ltd. operates as the Merchant of Record, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of awedot after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
